Marcus Hodge | Commercial & Property | Special Counsel
Marcus Hodge is Special Counsel in the Commercial and Property team at HHG Legal Group, located in the firm’s Albany office. He is an experienced private practice lawyer, focusing on business and government clients.
Prior to joining HHG Legla Group in 2016, Marcus spent some time with two top tier national firms. Marcus then worked in-house with the Australian Stock Exchange, leading to a Senior Legal Counsel appointment with off-shore construction company Clough Limited. Moving into further in-house Legal, Commercial and Business Manager roles, Marcus acted on major construction and energy projects both within Australia and Asia Pacific. He worked extensively with Chevron Australia on the Gorgon Barrow Island project, as Senior Counsel and Commercial Manger, in conjunction with Clough and KBR.
Following his initial qualification as an Architect, he was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of both the Supreme Courts of Western Australia and of New South Wales in 2001.
Marcus is a qualified Adjudicator and a board member of the Great Southern Master Builders Association. He sits on various other boards and committees, including not-for-profits such as Great Southern Grammar School and the Great Southern Employment and Development Committee.
