Richard has nearly 20 years’ legal experience in family and de facto law and litigation and is committed to delivering his clients pragmatic legal solutions.
Recently joining the firm, Richard is permanently based in HHG Legal Group’s Joondalup office where he has already been serving the region’s families for over 8 years.
His practice predominantly focuses on assisting clients with their:
- Property settlements;
- Child support and custodial arrangements;
- Divorce proceedings;
- De facto relationship separation, and
- Spousal maintenance order.
In addition, Richard can also assist clients who are subject to family violence situations and claims, in relation to restraining orders and child protection matters, by working collaboratively with the firm’s criminal law practice. It’s this knowledge and dedication that makes Richard one of the best family lawyers in the greater Perth area.
Richard received a dual First Class Honours Degree from Keele University and has been awarded post-graduate degrees/academic qualifications from Cambridge University, Nottingham Law School and London’s Inns of Court School of Law in the UK. He has received the Prince of Wales Scholarship and the David Karmel Entrance Award.
In his spare time, Richard can be found painting or playing the piano, he enjoys sport and fitness activities and doing voluntary work in the community.
