About Hudson Henning & Goodman

"Excellent service just got even better"

HHG teamOur Team...

We know our reputation will only ever be as good as the people behind us.

Any solicitor wishing to work at HHG is carefully scrutinised and tested before being made an offer of employment. Not only do candidates need to show outstanding legal ability, they also need excellent communication skills and a passion for living either in the Great Southern or Perth.

Our team has a wide variety of experience in most areas of the law. This is backed by the small business and farming backgrounds of the Directors. And that makes us a rare commodity - proven lawyers, who think commercially and understand what you need.

As one of the largest small boutique law firms in WA, we have the capacity to provide advice quickly and to the highest standard.

Our Directors...

Simon Creek
Simon is a Notary Public and Senior Family Lawyer and Senior Wills & Estate Planning Lawyer. He oversees the teams in both of these areas. Simon sits on the Council of the Family Law Practitioners Association and is also a member of the Family Law section of the Law Council of Australia. Formerly a Director of the Bendigo Bank, Albany, Simon is now Vice President of the Albany Chamber of Commerce and a founding member of Collaborative Professionals (WA). Managing one of the largest family law teams in WA, Simon spends half his week in Albany and half his week in Perth.

Between 2000 and 2003, Simon was a partner at Haynes Robinson where he headed up the family law department. Prior to that, Simon worked at the national firm of Corrs Chambers Wesgarth, employing experience previously gained at Butlers, a boutique family law and wills & estate planning firm.

Simon has authored a number of papers and is a co-author of the leading national legal resource "Halsbury's Laws of Australia". Still involved in his family's farming business, Simon has a variety of other interests including cars, cars and more cars!

HHG PartnersMurray Thornhill
Murray heads up HHG's commercial and commercial litigation departments. He is also a Notary Public.

Prior to becoming a partner at Haynes Robinson in 2002, Murray worked in the commercial litigation and building and construction law departments at a leading national law firm, Deacons, at a Perth-based boutique litigation firm, and at the national firm of Blake Dawson Waldron.

Murray has extensive experience in most aspects of commercial, corporate and commercial litigation work. Murray is a member of Australasia's peak Alternative Dispute Resolution body, LEADR.

Murray enjoys spending time with his family and watching that favourite show of all lawyers - Boston Legal.
