In 2007, the 91 year old firm of Hudson Henning & Goodman, acquired long established Perth firm, Wheatley's Legal. This created an organisation with proven experience in providing legal services to the Western Australian community.

HHG Legal Group is owned and directed by Simon Creek and Murray Thornhill, who lead a professional team who are fully committed to providing the best service possible.
Simon Creek - Managing Director
Simon is a senior Family/De facto law and Wills/Estate Planning Lawyer. He heads up HHG's Private Client Services division and is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and a founding member of Collaborative Professionals WA. Previously at Butlers and Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Simon is a published academic and with a business background, he takes a very commercial approach to the law. In 2008, Simon won a coveted WA Business News 40 under 40 award and has since been a judge of that event. Simon was for several years a Family Law Practitioners Association Council Member and remains actively involved in various FLPA activities.
Simon is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries.
Murray Thornhill - Director
Murray leads HHG's Business and Government Services division, is an accomplished litigator and Commercial Lawyer. He sits on a regional committee of the Master Builder's Association, on several sub-committees of the Law Society of Western Australia, is a member of the South West and Great Southern Law Society and Australasia’s peak Alternative Dispute Resolution body, LEADR. Murray has published papers and delivered many seminars on a range of commercial legal issues. Murray's focus is on proactive and commercially sensible advice combined with vigorous advocacy for clients rights.
Murray is a Member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries.
